I was no further than a hands length from the Olympic Gold medal today. Had I known sufficient Russian, I would have asked to get my picture with it.
That’s the challenge for the remainder of my games time. Why did I not think to get my iPhone out and take a photo !!!

Team GB have 6 more judo athletes left to compete. Fingers are still crossed for Chris on Friday who will fight alongside Karina; let’s hope, of the six left, we can get the requisite 2 medals. If not, funding opportunities over the next Olympic cycle will be hard to get.

I managed to watch both finals today from the athlete seating area (pics below). I think the Slovakian team really got into the spirit but the best for me was the Korean win. Superb!
